We are a family run farm and this is our passion - so rest assured we provide high quality, delicious tasting meat! We raise happy cows with plenty of pasture to roam. Our cows are grass-fed, grass and grain finished, pasture raised, no hormones and no antibiotics. We are always USDA inspected, unlike other places that will sell you the cow before processing, to avoid having to go through USDA inspection. It comes at a greater cost for us but it's worth the peace of mind for the customer. All beef is vacuumed sealed to ensure quality and freezer longevity.
Yes!
Grass fed, then grass and grain finished for the last few months to add a tasty marbling on the meat.
For custom bulk orders, we price our bulk beef based on the standard of hanging weight. Hanging weight is approximately 60% of the live weight of the steer before processing. Once processing is done, the weight of final beef cuts is approximately 50%-60% of the hanging weight. Price per pound of hanging weight ranges from $5.20/lb for whole, $5.35/lb for half, and $5.50/lb for quarter, which usually comes out to $9-$10/lb of final beef cuts.
For bulk orders where the cow has already been processed, usually from a cow that is ready to process but doesn't have a reservation, pricing will be per pound of beef: $9.40/lb for whole, $9.65/lb for half, and $9.90/lb for quarter.

For bulk orders, the time frame varies. We are happy to give you a time frame before placing order. For our smaller bundles and a la carte options, as long as we have them in stock, they can be picked up within a day or so.
Whole: 16-18 cubic feet. A whole can fill up a larger 20 cubic foot upright freezer.

We offer limited deliveries depending on location; otherwise you can pick up at our farm in Hazel Green!
Meat can last in a deep freezer for about 3-5 years; however, we recommend consuming it within 1-2 years for the best quality and taste.
Not at this time. We are actively looking into ways to ship meat in a reasonable time frame without having outrageous shipping costs.
Now taking orders for September, October and November!
